Turn smart meter data into knowledge
Water, gas, district heating and electricity customers are rapidly changing their usage patterns, due to new technology adoption and climate change mitigation. Modern smart meter infrastructure is key to understanding where changes are happening, but at Utiligize we go further and identify what is driving the changes.
Through clustering and signal disaggregation of meter data in a big data environment, we identify different customer segments and the devices and societal factors driving change.
Identify the potential of your customers
Which customers could benefit from transitioning to a heat pump? And which customers are capable of delivering reliable demand response?
We combine algorithms from demand response research projects with demographic forecasts and national statistic databases to strengthen customer insights and help companies identify the right customer for their business.
Short term forecasting and network state estimation
By combining smart meter data with control room measurements, weather, public and school holiday data, and media viewership, short term network flow can be performed on millions of points in your grid. With state-of-the-art deep learning methods, we are able to reach estimation errors under 5%, making state estimation a realistic alternative to installing sensors at low- and medium-levels of aggregation.
